Lot 279: An Assortment of Domestic Glassware and Ceramics
A collection of assorted domestic glassware and ceramics contained within a cardboard box. The glassware includes various clear pressed glass items such as a footed tazza, a small decanter with stopper, several mugs including one with a diamond-cut pattern and another with etched floral motifs, and a lidded jar featuring a diamond-cut pattern. Decorative glass elements include a pink translucent saucer with a molded scrolling floral pattern and a large amber-coloured glass platter. The ceramics comprise a white glazed sauce boat with a scalloped rim, a group of nested white bowls, and several brown-glazed earthenware dishes, one of which contains a clear molded glass figurine of a stylised animal. No maker’s marks or factory stamps are clearly visible on the items. A lot tag marked Lot 279 is attached to the exterior of the box.
