Lot 396: A Set of Eight Clear Glass Dessert Coupes Attributed to Anchor Hocking Boopee Pattern
A set of eight clear glass dessert or sundae coupes, attributed to the Berwick or Boopee pattern by Anchor Hocking. Each dish is made from clear pressed glass, featuring a wide bowl with a moulded ruffled or crimped rim. The bowl sits upon a short stem with a bulbous knop decorated with moulded hobnail or beaded textures. The glasses are supported by circular, stepped, and domed bases which incorporate a matching ring of moulded beads. There are no maker’s marks visible on the items; one glass features a contemporary auction label for HCP Auctions South West, identifying it as Lot 396.
