Lot 397: A mid-20th-century Queen Anne style mahogany-veneered bow-fronted display cabinet
A single-piece mahogany-veneered display cabinet in the Queen Anne revival style. The cabinet features a bow-fronted glazed door with decorative scrolling wood astragal glazing bars, flanked by two fixed curved glass side panels. The interior contains two removable glass shelves and is lined with a cream-coloured patterned fabric back panel. The piece is supported on four short cabriole legs. Hardware includes small brass hinges and a single lock with an accompanying key. There are no identifiable manufacturer marks visible, although contemporary auction and tracking labels are adhered to the top surface.
