Lot 315: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics, Metalware and Glassware
A collection of various decorative and household objects. Ceramic items include a lidded casserole dish decorated with concentric bands of black and russet orange, a lidded vegetable dish with blue circular accents and integral handles, and a small blue jasperware-style dish featuring white sprigged bas-relief decoration. Metalware is represented by a group of cast openwork trivets, including one shaped as an owl and others with foliate and butterfly designs, alongside leather-mounted brass horse martingales with relief-cast animal head motifs. Glassware consists of a small cruet set comprising cut-glass bottles and stoppers within a metal frame, and a small clear glass vessel. The lot is presented in a cardboard box bearing an auction label for Lot 315.
