Lot 335: A Collection of Decorative Items Including an Anton Pieck Art Print and an Engraved Serving Knife
This collection features a variety of domestic and decorative objects. The centrepiece of the lot is a vintage art print by the Dutch illustrator Anton Pieck, depicting the historical street scene The Great Britain. The illustration shows a horse-drawn carriage and figures in 19th-century attire, signed Anton Pieck in the lower right corner of the image. The print is mounted on heavy cream-coloured cardstock. Included is an antique-style serving knife, likely for fish or cake, featuring an engraved metal blade with floral and foliate patterns. The handle is spiral-carved from a cream-coloured material, possibly bone or an early synthetic substitute. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are present on the server. The lot also contains a bowl of smooth, polished white and cream decorative pebbles, a contemporary USB cup warmer in its original Ingenious brand packaging, and a textured glass vessel.
