Lot 439: Three Items Comprising a Halina Prefect TLR Camera, an Ultra Fex Camera, and Personalised Port
This lot consists of a Halina Prefect Twin Lens Reflex (TLR) camera, an Ultra Fex viewfinder camera, and a presentation bottle of port. The Halina Prefect, produced by Haking, is a medium format camera designed for 120 film, producing 6x6cm negatives. The body is constructed of metal with a black textured leatherette covering. The taking lens is marked HALINA f=80mm and the viewing lens is marked REFLEX. It is accompanied by a brown leather ever-ready case with a neck strap. The Ultra Fex, manufactured by Fex-Indo in France, is a 620 format camera with a black Bakelite body and a telescoping lens barrel. The lens bezel is inscribed FEXAR OPTIC SPEC. It includes a brown leather ever-ready case bearing a white auction tag numbered 439. The final item is a bottle of Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port, Produce of Portugal. The label features a personalised inscription for James Robert Hanson, mentioning a 70th birthday and the year 1950. The year 1950 refers to the birth year of the recipient rather than the vintage of the port. The bottle is housed in a black card presentation box with a black satin-style fabric lining and remains sealed with its original IVDP paper seal.
