Lot 468: An Assortment of Costume Jewellery within a Large Lidded Wicker Basket
A collection of miscellaneous costume jewellery housed within a rectangular lidded wicker basket. The contents include an assortment of necklaces, featuring multiple strands of faux pearls in white and cream tones, various beaded necklaces in black and multi-coloured patterns, and a selection of gold-tone and silver-tone chains. Notable items include a metallic theatrical mask-style pendant and a large silver-tone medallion or coin-style pendant. The lot is accompanied by several small jewellery presentation boxes in various colours and small fabric drawstring pouches. The container is a large, handwoven wicker basket with a hinged lid, resembling a picnic hamper style. No maker’s marks are legible on the individual jewellery pieces.
