Lot 488: A Collection of Ten Miniature Glazed Ceramic Wade Animal Figurines
This is a collection of ten miniature glazed ceramic animal figurines, attributed to the Wade Whimsies line produced in Stoke-on-Trent. The assortment includes a variety of domestic and wild animals: a calico cat in a pouncing pose, a white cockerel on a green base, a seated brown owl, a bird on a yellow nest, a small game bird, a sitting spaniel-style puppy, a reclining corgi, a lying canine figure, a white seated animal, and an upright brown animal resembling a beaver. The pieces feature high-gloss, multicoloured glazes. No maker’s marks are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The figurines are in good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface dust and small debris are present, consistent with long-term storage or display.
