Lot 710: A 19th Century Victorian provincial dark-stained wood washstand
A 19th-century Victorian provincial washstand constructed from dark-stained wood. The piece features a rectangular top surface enclosed by a three-sided gallery with a raised back and decoratively shaped side returns. Below the top is a single central frieze drawer fitted with a turned wooden knob handle. The table is supported by four turned legs with bulbous detailing, which are joined by a full-width lower rectangular shelf. Contemporary auction labels are present on the top surface, including a white tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 808, and a pink circular sticker marked with the number 32.
