Start price: £60

Estimated price: £60 - £80

Buyer's Premium:

A primitive vernacular four-legged cobbler’s stool, likely 19th century or earlier. The stool is of simple, rustic construction, featuring a thick, hand-hewn rectangular slab seat crafted from a native British hardwood, possibly oak or elm, showing visible adze marks and irregular edges. It is supported by three roughly shaped cylindrical legs that are through-tenoned and wedged into the top of the seat. The wood displays a weathered appearance with a silvery-grey patina.
