Lot 884: A mahogany-finish occasional table and a mahogany-finish plant stand
This lot comprises two separate pieces of traditional reproduction furniture with a mahogany finish. The first item is an occasional table featuring an oval top with a serpentine scalloped edge. It is supported by four slender cabriole legs, which are joined by a lower stretcher shelf with a matching shaped edge. An auction label for Lot 972 from H.I. Auctions South West is adhered to the top. The second item is a plant stand or pedestal featuring a small circular top with a raised moulded rim. The stand is supported on three out-swept curved legs, which are connected by a circular central stretcher shelf. A handwritten string tag is attached identifying the item as a plant stand with a reserve of five pounds.
