Lot 917: A Collection of Framed Decorative Prints and a Multi-Aperture Photograph Frame
This collection comprises several framed wall hangings, primarily featuring decorative prints and a contemporary photograph frame. The group includes a large landscape-orientated print depicting a coastal harbour town with buildings rising up a hillside and various vessels moored in the water; this is housed in a wide, light-coloured wooden frame with a narrow gilt inner slip and is glazed. Also included is a medium-sized Impressionist-style landscape print featuring figures in period dress amidst a rural or coastal setting, finished in soft blue and green tones. It is presented in a cream-coloured mount and a decorative gilt-finished frame. The collection further contains a long, rectangular contemporary multi-aperture photograph frame in a silver or champagne-coloured metallic finish, featuring a black mount with seven apertures of varying shapes, including a central arch containing a stylised gold-toned letter A. Completing the group are a portrait-orientated print of blue flowers in a pale pink-painted wooden frame with a bead-and-reel inner border, and a small landscape print in a simple gilt-effect frame. All items in the collection are glazed.
