Lot 64: A Collection of Vintage and Modern Hand Tools including Rabone Spirit Levels and B&Q Measuring Equipment
An assortment of vintage and modern hand tools housed within a large translucent plastic storage bin. The collection includes two spirit levels: a red metal model marked Rabone No 1415 Made in England, and a vintage wooden spirit level with brass mounts, inscribed J. Rabone & Sons Makers Birmingham and Warranted Correct. Measuring tools consist of a B&Q 30m fibreglass long tape measure in a blue circular casing, a Stanley yellow tape measure, and a combination square with a cast iron handle. The lot features several claw and ball-peen hammers with a mix of wooden and composite rubberised handles. Plumbing and mechanical tools include a blue-painted Stillson-style pipe wrench and various adjustable wrenches. Cutting and abrasive items comprise a small blue hacksaw frame, a cardboard box of files and rasps marked Vialan Viila Oy, and a roll of abrasive cloth. Also included are various screwdrivers, a small trowel or scraper, and miscellaneous workshop sundries. The plastic storage bin is marked with handwritten text reading Tools and Garage.
