Lot 75: A Collection of Vintage Woodworking Hand Planes to include Stanley
An assortment of vintage woodworking hand planes of various designs and materials. The collection includes a cast iron bench plane with a lever cap marked STANLEY in orange, presented in a distressed original Stanley cardboard box featuring yellow and black stripe decoration. There is a second, unboxed cast iron bench plane of similar vintage with a wooden front knob and rear tote. The lot also contains two small metal block planes and two traditional wooden smoothing planes, likely crafted from beech. The wooden planes retain their blades and securing wedges and carry adhesive paper labels marked 13 and 075. All planes feature steel blades and various wooden or metal fittings.
