Lot 609: A Trio of Contemporary Elephant-Themed Decorative Items
A collection of glazed ceramic elephant figurines presented in a descending graduated arrangement within a glazed shadow box frame. The figures are depicted in profile and feature decorative incised and impressed detailing representing ceremonial trappings. The ceramic pieces are finished with a crackle glaze in tones of celadon green, ochre, and brown. The figurines are mounted on a cream-coloured card backing and housed in a black-finished wooden frame. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the front of the pieces. An auction label for Lot 610 is present on the lower-left corner of the mount.
