Lot 139: Two Glazed and Unglazed Ceramic Garden Planters
Two ceramic garden planters featuring various forms and decorative finishes. The collection includes a large tapering cylindrical planter in glazed earthenware, finished with a mottled dark brown glaze. This vessel is decorated with an impressed band of scrolling wave-like geometric patterns around the upper shoulder and features a thickened, rounded rim. It currently contains a heather plant and bears an auction sticker for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 139, alongside a tape label marked 13 x 2. The second item is a large bulbous earthenware planter with a wide aperture and flattened rim, finished in a natural, matte buff-coloured tone with a slightly textured surface.
