Lot 672: An Oculus Quest (1st Generation) Virtual Reality Headset with Controllers and Accessories
A large folio atlas titled The Times Atlas (New Edition), published at the Office of “The Times”, Printing House Square, London, in 1900. The volume is bound in a half-leather style with dark blue cloth-covered boards and brown leather used for the spine and corners. The front cover features a prominent central gilt-stamped vignette of a globe encircled by a laurel wreath, flanked by the title in ornate gilt script, all enclosed within a gilt-ruled border. The spine is decorated with gilt bands and the title The Times Atlas in gilt lettering. Internally, the work contains 132 pages of maps, comprising a total of 196 individual coloured lithographic maps, followed by an extensive alphabetical index of 150,000 names. The volume includes red marbled endpapers. Visible maps include a double-page spread (pages 107–108) of the south-eastern United States, Cuba, and the Bahama Islands, featuring inset maps of the Environs of New York and Haiti and Puerto Rico. The title page includes a central wood-engraved vignette of a clock and an open book marked Times Past and Future.
