Lot 250: An Assortment of Golf Equipment including Bags and Clubs by Dunlop and Ben Sayers
A collection of three circular garden planters comprising ceramic and moulded examples of varying sizes. The largest is a substantial reddish-brown stoneware planter with a wide, rounded rim and a tapered body, decorated with horizontal relief bands and a central frieze featuring a repeating scroll motif. The medium-sized planter is finished in a mid-brown glaze with a simple tapered form, detailed with three parallel incised lines below the upper rim. The third item is a moulded planter designed to resemble a traditional wooden barrel, featuring a pale stone-coloured finish with a textured wood-grain effect and two dark brown painted bands simulating metal hoops. All items are sold as seen with soil and plant remnants.
