Lot 294: A Vintage Tubular Aluminium and Woven Fabric Folding Garden Chair
A trio of oval-form trough planters constructed from earthenware. Each vessel features a white gloss exterior glaze and an unglazed, reddish-brown interior. The bodies are decorated with horizontal ribbed moulding and a single central relief-moulded oval medallion on the front face. This medallion depicts a fruiting branch, likely olive, in a contrasting terracotta-coloured finish. The design is characteristic of Mediterranean-inspired garden pottery, such as the Cotswold range or those produced by J Chamberlain and Co. One planter retains a hand-written price sticker and an auction lot label.
