Lot 362: A Collection of Assorted Household Items Including Ceramics, Metalware, and Sundries
A collection of various household and leisure items. The primary object is a rectangular box in the style of the mid-19th century, featuring rosewood veneers and five circular mother-of-pearl inlays to the lid. Also included is a Dow’s Port branded indoor skittles game set, housed in a light-toned wooden box with a transparent sliding lid. This set contains miniature turned wooden pins, metal balls, and printed rule and score booklets. The lot further comprises a stack of white glazed ceramic plates, including one example with a single pink line to the rim, and a piece of printed ephemera being a blue and white programme for Music presented by Harold Fielding at the Winter Garden theatre. The items are presented in a cardboard storage box with protective foam and paper packaging.
