Lot 760: A Large Mid-Century Cobalt Blue and Clear Glass Empoli Balloon Bowl
A set of eight decorative glass stemwares, comprising four larger wine goblets and four smaller liqueur glasses. The clear glass bowls are decorated with an abstract stained-glass style pattern featuring black linear scrollwork and intersecting arcs, accented with translucent coloured panels in ruby red, amber-gold, and slate blue. The bowls are raised on clear stems with circular feet. This design is consistent with the Milano pattern, frequently retailed by brands such as Pier 1. No maker marks, signatures, or etched brand labels are visible to the bases or bowls. One glass retains a handwritten sticker marked 13 and an auction label for HCP Auctions South West.
