Lot 761: A Set of Eight Decorative Glass Stemwares in the Milano Style
An assortment of vintage die-cast metal toy soldiers primarily representing British Army and Commonwealth regiments. The collection features figures depicted in traditional Highland dress, including red tunics, kilts, sporrans, and feather bonnets, shown in various combat and ceremonial poses such as charging with bayonets, kneeling at the ready, and standing at ease. Also included are Guards regiments in ceremonial red tunics and bearskin hats, and several figures in khaki service dress, notably one soldier with a wide-brimmed slouch hat. Specialist figures include a Highland piper and various combatants in action poses. The figures are constructed from die-cast lead alloy and are hand-painted.
