Lot 851: Mid-Century Teak Corner Display Cabinet by Sutcliffe of Todmorden
A single-piece oak display cabinet or bookcase constructed in the Tudor Revival style. The unit is made from oak with a dark-stained finish and a prominent grain. It features two full-length doors inset with leaded glass panels in a geometric design of elongated diamonds and rectangles. The side stiles are decorated with vertical carved motifs. The cabinet is fitted with two metal drop-pull handles. It stands on a shaped plinth base with bracket-style feet to the front. The interior is currently empty and lacks shelving. No maker marks or labels are visible, although a green inventory sticker is present on the interior base.
