Lot 962: A Collection of Miscellaneous Household and Decorative Items
A set of seven contemporary stacking side chairs, closely resembling the IKEA Skalsta model. Each chair is constructed with a contoured shell of moulded plywood finished in a light wood veneer. The seat and backrest are fitted with inset padded panels upholstered in a pale blue faux leather. The shells are mounted on chrome-plated tubular metal frames designed for stacking. The design is influenced by the mid-century modern aesthetic of the Arne Jacobsen Series 7 chair. Inventory labels are present, but no manufacturer marks are visible.
