Lot 988: A pair of contemporary solid pine bedside cabinets
A traditional pine storage chest, designed for use as a bedding or blanket box. The item is constructed from solid pine with a warm honey-coloured finish. The front of the chest features four rectangular raised panels set within a moulded frame. It is fitted with a hinged lid that has decorative moulded edges. The lid is secured with internal metal hinges. No external handles or locking hardware are present on the front or side elevations. The piece displays natural timber characteristics including visible knots. A small, illegible white adhesive label is present on the front upper edge.
