Lot 1048: A 20th Century Jacobean Revival Dark Oak Gateleg Table
An early 20th-century mahogany-finished dressing chest of rectangular form. The upper section features a rectangular swivel mirror set within a shaped pediment frame, supported by two scrolling uprights. The lower chest comprises two full-width drawers, each fitted with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The piece is raised on four square tapered legs. The primary timber is finished in a mahogany-coloured stain, consistent with mass-produced furniture from the Edwardian period. No maker’s labels or stamps are visible on the exterior or within the drawer interiors. A lot sticker numbered 13 is adhered to the top surface.
