Lot 1065: A Contemporary White Painted Wooden Drop-Leaf Dining Table and Two Matching Chairs
A collection of hand-painted dioramas attributed to makers such as Country Artists and Border Fine Arts, each depicting traditional British rural scenes with vintage tractors and figures. The collection includes a grey tractor resembling a Ferguson TE20 with a driver wearing a flat cap and green waistcoat accompanied by a dog; a green vintage tractor with spoked wheels in a farmyard setting with a sheepdog and geese; a red tractor with a driver and a second figure pointing; and a red tractor engaged in ploughing a field alongside a figure leaning on a stone wall. Each scene is constructed from cold-cast resin with high attention to textural detail in the terrain and vegetation. The models are mounted on polished dark wood oval bases, each featuring a small gold-toned oval label to the front edge. One base retains a paper auction tag marked with lot number 1068.
