Lot 1071: A Pair of IKEA Calypso Frosted Glass Ceiling Light Shades
This lot comprises six glazed ceramic garden planters of varied sizes and finishes. The collection includes one large, tapered planter with a flared rim, finished in a deep burgundy high-gloss glaze. The remaining five planters are of smaller, varied dimensions and feature a two-tone finish with pale-coloured rims and reddish-brown bodies, characteristic of standard salt-glazed stoneware garden pottery. Several of the planters are currently potted with established plants, including a specimen of mint and a variety of bamboo, while others contain garden soil and emerging seedlings. One pot bears a handwritten tag identifying the lot as 618 with a reserve of fifteen pounds, alongside a printed HCP Auctions South West label for Lot 1074. No maker marks are visible on the ceramic bodies.
