Lot 1188: Two Contemporary Metal Torchiere Floor Lamps
A dark oak sideboard in the Tudor revival style, characteristic of Jaycee or Wood Brothers Old Charm furniture. The upper section consists of a recessed, canted-front cupboard with a single central door decorated with a carved lozenge motif. It is finished with a heavy moulded cornice and a repeating scalloped frieze. The lower base unit features a flat serving surface above two drawers with vertically fluted fronts and metal drop handles. Below the drawers is a two-door cupboard, with each door featuring a matching carved lozenge panel. The doors are fitted with decorative metal butterfly hinges and circular backplate pulls, separated by a central carved upright. The piece is constructed from oak with a dark-stained finish and sits on a plinth base.
