Lot 62: A Collection of Vintage Costume Jewellery Brooches
This lot features an assortment of vintage costume jewellery brooches in various designs and finishes. Included is a silver-tone bow brooch, designed with intertwined ribbons and entirely pavé-set with small, faceted marcasite-style stones. A silver-tone Scottish thistle brooch depicts two thistle heads and textured foliage, also accented with marcasite-style stones. A gold-tone brooch of elongated navette form features a symmetrical central floral motif with pointed terminals, reflecting Art Nouveau style influences. Another silver-tone brooch is shaped as a floral spray with a single central blossom and trailing curved leaves, set with marcasite-style stones. A silver-tone filigree brooch of trefoil form is constructed from three wire-work loops containing textured filigree panels, joined at a central coiled metal cluster. No maker marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible on the front of the pieces.
