Lot 106: A Pair of Edwardian Sterling Silver Salt Spoons, Birmingham 1903
A pair of sterling silver salt spoons by William Adams Ltd. Each spoon features a small, circular bowl and a spirally twisted stem terminating in an ornate, scrolled handle in the rococo revival style. The reverse of each bowl bears a complete set of British hallmarks including the maker mark W.A within a horizontal oval for William Adams Ltd, the anchor mark for the Birmingham Assay Office, the lion passant for sterling silver, and the lowercase date letter d for 1903.
