Lot 144: A Trio of Vintage Silver-Toned Baby Rattles with Teether Rings
This lot consists of three vintage baby rattles, each comprising a silver-toned rattle suspended from a circular teether ring. The first rattle is cast in the form of an elephant with its trunk raised. The second is a tapered square-section bell rattle, engraved on one face with a decorative GEG monogram. The third is a spherical jingle bell rattle with a central slit. Each is attached to a cream-coloured teether ring, likely made from bone or a similar early synthetic material. Small marks are present on the silver mounts of the elephant and bell rattles but are not clearly legible.
