Lot 69: A Vintage Aladdin Pink Paraffin Fuel Filler Can
This is a vintage Aladdin Pink paraffin fuel filler can, typically used for domestic heaters during the mid-20th century. The cylindrical metal body is finished in a battleship grey paint and features a prominent orange and white oval label. The label is printed with the brand name Aladdin in a stylized script above the word PINK in bold block capitals, and the phrase THE PREMIER PARAFFIN. The vessel is fitted with a fixed metal carrying handle at the top and a secondary loop handle on the side. It features a black, angled spout, likely made of Bakelite or early plastic, attached via a threaded collar. The base is constructed with concentric circular ridges. A white auction label for HCP Auctions South West, marked Lot 069, is attached to the front.
