Lot 129: A Pair of Regency Style Cast Stone Garden Urn Planters
A pair of circular cast stone garden planters or urns in the Regency style. Each vessel is of low, footed form with a wide, flared rim. The exterior of the basins is decorated with deep relief-moulded scrolling foliate and acanthus leaf motifs. Each urn sits upon an integral, circular pedestal base. The material is a weathered cast stone or composite with a natural, buff-coloured finish. The interior reveals a wide basin with a recessed circular centre. A white rectangular paper lot tag with the black printed number 129 is adhered to the rim. No maker marks or signatures are visible.
