Lot 177: Three items comprising a vintage oil heater in the style of Perfection, a hammered metal bowl, and a textured decorative sphere
Attributed to the manufacturer Perfection based on form and plaque placement, this lot features a vintage cylindrical oil heater, a hammered metal bowl, and a large textured decorative sphere. The heater is constructed from rolled sheet iron and steel with a heavily oxidised and rusted surface. It features a decorative band of pierced lattice work around the rim and stands on three cast scroll feet. An oval metal manufacturer plaque is affixed to the side, although the lettering is not clearly readable. Resting in the upper section of the heater is a separate metal bowl with a hammered texture and a metallic bronze-coloured finish. The lot is completed by a large garden or interior sphere featuring a deeply pitted and cratered surface texture in shades of ochre and brown. The sphere is made from a ceramic or composite stone material.
