Lot 301: A Collection of Ten Weathered Cast Stone and Concrete Garden Ornaments and Planters
A collection of ten weathered garden ornaments and planters, primarily constructed from cast stone and concrete. The assortment includes a diverse range of figurative pieces: a large, moss-covered seated figure with a rounded, textured back; a seated gargoyle or grotesque in a crouching pose; a small seated Buddha figure with a dark, weathered finish; a tortoise; and a small owl. Functional and decorative elements include a planter modeled as a hollowed tree stump, a large boulder-like stone, and several smaller weathered rocky fragments and miniature planters. The items exhibit a variety of surface textures from smooth to heavily eroded. Several pieces bear white adhesive inventory labels from HCP Auctions, including lot number 301 and reference number 6613. One figure displays a previous price label of £199.
