Lot 336: A Goodmans FX 7000 Midi Hi-Fi System with a Pair of Speakers
A Goodmans FX 7000 Midi Hi-Fi system featuring integrated components housed within a single black plastic chassis. The system includes a stereo tuner at the top with an analog slide-rule dial for FM, MW, and LW radio bands. The middle section contains a stereo integrated amplifier equipped with a five-band graphic equaliser, a balance slider, and selector switches for function and band. The lower section consists of a stereo dual cassette deck, with Deck B labelled for high-speed dubbing and recording, and Deck A for continuous play. Mechanical transport controls are located along the bottom edge of the main unit. The system is accompanied by a matching pair of black cabinet speakers, each featuring a black fabric grille and a front-firing bass reflex port. A standard UK three-pin power plug is attached.
