Lot 469: Admira Almeria Spanish Classical Acoustic Guitar and Gig Bag
A classical nylon-string acoustic guitar produced by Admira (Enrique Keller S.A.) in Spain, model Almeria. The instrument features a natural-finished wood soundboard with a traditional multi-coloured ornate rosette around the soundhole. The back and sides are constructed from a reddish-brown wood, typically sapelli or mahogany for this model. It possesses a dark wood fingerboard and bridge, and a slotted headstock with chrome-coloured tuning machines and white buttons. Notably, the fingerboard has been modified with the addition of small yellow circular position markers at the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, and twelfth frets. An internal paper label visible through the soundhole is printed with the text admira, KELLER ESPANA, and MODELO ALMERIA. A handwritten tag attached to the bridge reads 1970 Reserve £50, although the date of manufacture has not been independently verified. The guitar is supplied with a black padded soft gig bag featuring a carry handle and zipper closure.
