Lot 529: A Trio of Decorative Glass Bowls Including an Attributed Anna Hutte Frosted Rose Bowl
This lot comprises three decorative glass bowls of varying styles and periods. The first is a large clear pressed glass serving bowl featuring an intricate geometric design with panels of diamond and hobnail cutting, starburst motifs to the base, and vertical fan cuts towards a pronounced serrated sawtooth rim. The second is a lead crystal bowl attributed to Anna Hutte, Germany, in the Rosaline pattern. It features a raised relief design of roses and leaves, where the blossoms are tinted with a pink hue and the foliage and body are finished with frosted detailing. The third item is a shallow circular dish of opaque black glass with a high-gloss finish and a minimalist rounded rim. No permanent maker marks are visible on the pieces; however, the cut glass bowl bears a paper auction label for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 529.
