Lot 536: A Collection of Decorative Lead Crystal and Glassware Including Cut Bells and Frosted Lotus Coasters with Examples From Royal Doulton, Crystal D'Arques, Dartington Crystal and Sudety
n assortment of decorative clear glass and lead crystal items. The collection comprises multiple bells featuring various decorative techniques, including deep geometric diamond and cross-hatch cutting with multifaceted handles, an etched floral spray motif, and one bell topped with a clear glass bird-form finial. Also included is a set of circular coasters or small plates, each featuring a frosted central lotus flower design with a beaded egg-and-dart style rim, and a larger circular plate with a moulded design of grapes and vine leaves. The lot further contains a rectangular clear crystal block paperweight with an internal 3D laser-etched design depicting two figures, alongside two solid, smooth-form clear glass decorative pieces of rounded shape. One cut-glass bell bears a small blue oval manufacturer’s label, and the reverse of one frosted lotus plate carries a paper auction label from HCP Auctions South West.
