Lot 538: A Collection of Clear Glass and Crystal Elephant-Themed Decorative Items
This lot comprises a collection of clear glass and crystal decorative items, predominantly featuring elephant motifs. The collection includes three molded glass elephant-form dishes or votive holders, consisting of two larger examples with upward-turned trunks and one smaller stylized version. A square glass plaque or coaster features an etched line drawing of an elephant. A circular glass dish or paperweight is decorated with a frosted or wheel-engraved scene of a stag amongst trees. Two rectangular glass blocks feature animal designs, one depicting a bird and the other a deer, in the style of Scandinavian glassmakers. The lot is completed by a small glass figurine of a bird or animal mounted on a circular base.
