Lot 603: A Trio of Vintage Cloth and Composition Character Dolls with Assorted Clothing
This lot comprises three vintage dolls and an assortment of separate doll garments. The first doll is a boudoir-style cloth doll featuring bright orange yarn hair styled in thick coils. The face is painted with large blue eyes, prominent eyelashes, and red lips. It is dressed in a brown and white striped long-sleeved top with patterned leggings and black fabric shoes. The second doll is in the style of Norah Wellings, featuring a pressed felt or composition face with a dark complexion and painted facial features. This doll is dressed in a pink fabric turban and a simulated pearl necklace. The third is a smaller character doll with a bald head, likely composition or cloth, and a cloth body, wearing a dark brown two-piece suit. The separate clothing includes a green velvet-effect skirt with a red waistband and floral embroidery, a blue sequined cloak with gold-toned trim, a multi-coloured patterned skirt with floral and geometric motifs, and a piece of gold-toned textured fabric.
