Lot 607: A Nautical Ship's Wheel Style Table Lamp
A nautical themed table lamp designed in the style of a ship’s helm. The body and base are constructed from dark stained turned wood, featuring a decorative central ship’s wheel with six spokes. The central hub of the wheel and the lamp socket housing are finished in a brass tone. The lamp is fitted with a modern white electrical cable and a UK three pin plug. It is accompanied by a plain white tapered conical shade. A handwritten tag attached to the shade reads Ships wheel style lamp 1893 and an auction sticker to the base is marked HCP Auctions South West Lot 607. No permanent manufacturer’s marks are visible on the exterior.
