Lot 737: Traditional Fully Upholstered Armchair in Floral Damask Fabric
A traditional fully upholstered armchair of deep proportions, designed in the English country house style. The chair features deep rolled arms and a wide, deep seat. It is upholstered in a floral damask fabric depicting large-scale botanical motifs over a wide-striped ground in muted shades of terracotta, cream, and sage green, finished with piped seams. The piece is provided with a single loose seat cushion and a matching scatter cushion. It is supported by short, turned wooden feet terminating in brass castors. There are no maker’s marks or manufacturer labels visible. The chair bears a white auction lot tag numbered 737 on the upper arm and a small pink circular sticker numbered 32 on the loose cushion.
