Lot 783: A Collection of Assorted Cut and Pressed Lead Crystal and Glassware
This lot comprises an assortment of glassware exhibiting various styles and manufacturing techniques. Included is a square-form spirit decanter featuring heavy diamond-cut patterns to the body and a large multi-faceted stopper. A large, deep circular bowl displays complex geometric designs including star and cross-hatched lattice motifs. Also present is a large shallow circular plate with a central radial sunburst pattern and a diamond-cut border, resembling the Anchor Hocking Early American Prescut (EAPC) range. The collection further includes a small globular bottle or scent bottle with a swirl-moulded body and a white metal collar, alongside a set of nested circular dishes and various small bowls, including one with a star-cut base. The pieces exhibit a range of traditional cutting patterns such as hobnail diamond and geometric star motifs. No maker’s marks or etched signatures are discernible on the items.
