A large rectangular wall mirror featuring a substantial and highly decorative gilt-finished frame in a classical revival style. The frame construction incorporates multiple tiers of moulding, including a wide outer border of scrolling foliate and acanthus leaf patterns, a gadrooned middle edge, and a beaded inner border. The mirror plate is finished with a bevelled edge. This item is a reproduction of an earlier ornate style, likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. Lot number 2393.
