Lot 824: A Wrought Iron Three-Bar Towel Stand
A freestanding wrought iron towel stand, finished in a dark patinated bronze-coloured coating. The frame features a scrolling openwork design supporting three horizontal hanging rails, likely a late 20th-century reproduction of a Victorian or Edwardian design. Each upright is accented with spherical ball-style finials. The unit is supported on four out-swept scrolling feet, which are connected by a lower central stretcher for stability. The construction is a combination of wrought and welded metalwork. No manufacturer marks are present. Two temporary auction labels are attached to the upper rail, one printed with Lot 824 and another handwritten 9736.
