Lot 895: Mid-Century Teak Six-Drawer Tallboy Chest Manufactured by Austinsuite
A mid-century modern tallboy chest of drawers in lovely condition. A great example from the well-known British manufacturer Austinsuite. The unit is finished in teak veneer with a vertical grain pattern. It features six drawers of equal depth, each detailed with sculpted integral wooden handles that run vertically down the centre. The chest is raised on four square-tapered legs. The drawer interiors are constructed with a light-coloured secondary wood, likely oak or beech, and feature dovetail joints.
