Lot 903: A late 20th-century reproduction oak media cabinet in the traditional English style
A late 20th-century standing storage cabinet constructed from oak with a medium finish. The unit is of single-piece construction and features an asymmetric design. The left side consists of a tall, open shelving compartment containing a circular aperture cut into the back panel for cable management. The right side is configured with an upper cupboard door featuring a raised, multi-stepped central panel, above two small drawers with matching panelled fronts. The piece is fitted with turned wooden knobs and external hinges to the cupboard. It is supported by a shaped plinth base on bracket feet. The style is reminiscent of traditional English furniture manufacturers such as Wood Bros or Priory.
