Lot 916: A Late 20th Century Extending Dining Table and a Set of Matching Chairs
This lot consists of a late 20th-century dining table and a set of matching chairs in a transitional style. The table features a veneered top, possibly teak or mahogany-toned, with a solid wood rounded edge and a single dark wood stringing inlay following the outer contour. A central seam indicates that the table is designed to extend, although additional leaves are not visible in the images. The chairs feature vertical slatted backs and square seats upholstered in a salmon-pink textured fabric. The design and construction are reminiscent of British furniture manufacturers of the period, such as Nathan Furniture. An auction lot sticker numbered 916 is visible on the tabletop.
